Appearance: Tall, thin although fairly well muscled from Fencing and Quidditch. Slightly darker complexion and he tans easily. Family: Father Damian Pucey, Mother Suman Manisha Pucey, Grandmother Ahbaya 'Nani' Thirumalai, an endless amount of uncles and aunts and cousins, of the cousins most notably the brothers Jeevan and Ashok – approximately same age as Adrian – and Nanji (over 40 years old) who lives in London and has a small restaurant there. He also has an uncle on his father's side in Newcastle, and one older cousin (who probably went to Durmstrang like both Damian and his brother did). Suman and Damian had a son - Hadrian - before Adrian, but for various reasons he was institutionalised in India. Anybody other than Suman, Damian and Suman's parents believe the boy to be dead. He's not though. Friends/allies: A few close friends in his dorm/house/year. Roger Davies is his closest friend. His three cousins Jeevan, Ashok and Nanji. Current love interest: Roger Davies Pets/familiars: Two Doberman pinschers (that live at his home South of London) called Bia and Zelus, and a mischievous and thieving raven called Hugin. Sexual Orientation: Bi-sexual Personality: Adrian can be arrogant, self centred, calculating, at times outwardly cold… He certainly has the ability to be a bastard, especially towards those he doesn't consider friends. He's intensely focused on studying and acquiring the necessary N.E.W.T.'s to become an Auror, going against his father's wish for him to become Obliviator. He keeps this conflict to himself, as well as his wish to become Auror. Only professor Flitwick, the Head of Ravenclaw House, a select few of his closest friends and two of his cousins, know about this. The main drive behind his wish to become an Auror is strong ambition. He sees it as a powerful profession with plenty of possibilities of advancing up the ranks. A secondary reason is his dislike of the Dark Lord and his Death Eaters. He finds their approach distasteful, obviously stupid, wasteful and wrong. He might not particularly like Muggles, but he has no desire to enslave them or kill them. And he respects magical powers and intelligence highly, above all, no matter the blood status of a person. He's a hedonist, although he doesn't flaunt it. He loves physical touch, sensations of all kinds and wallows in them to the fullest extend, if possible and it doesn't interfere with his studies. Outwardly he can seem withdrawn and even cold, especially towards people he sees as rivals/enemies/below him. But he can also be very intense and passionate (both in the positive and the negative sense) about people, things and endeavours. Moments of sillyness don't last long, but he can be observed smiling, and even laughing at times, and he appreciates a good joke (if it's not on him) During his time away from home, studying at Hogwarts, Adrian has become more and more aware of his father's indoctrination efforts. Being a rebel by heart, and rather intelligent, he soon decided to fight that. Some things are just embedded too deeply in his personality to change easily, but he's become more and more independent from his father's influence. However, he also knows what Damian is capable of if somebody goes against him purposefully, and fears (even if he doesn't want to admit it) what the reaction will be when this silent rebellion becomes open instead. Adrian knows he's very much like his father, but hates being compared to him, with a vengeance. Never say it to his face or suffer the consequence. His mother's influence might not be as strong, but it has still given him a basic foundation in morals and ethics. He believes in fair play, as long as it isn't to his disadvantage. He can be lovable, even fiercely protective if he finds the other person deserving. Adrian has different 'masks' for different situations, and to a degree he also tends to hide behind those masks, if something/somebody gets to him or hurts him. He does hold a grudge extremely well, unless dropping it is in his favour or seems the most intelligent move. Habits: Obsessively neat with school work/notes while on the other hand tending towards being fairly sloppy when it comes to order in other things, reads for an hour in bed before sleeping (unless he's otherwise 'occupied'), he paces when thinking or discussing serious matters. If he gets really drunk, he's prone to spout poetry that fits his mood, so be warned. History (family history, school history, and post-school if applicable): Adrian was born at the Pucey estate South of London where he lived the first 2½ years of his life - a time he doesn't remember very well, since it was fairly dull compared to his life when they moved to Bangalore, India and he was surrouned by the large and rather lively Thirumalai family. He was raised in India the next 7 years of his life. He started fencing when he turned 6, and has continued fencing since then, winning a few medals in junior tournaments in England and India. Determined that their son should go to Hogwarts, Suman and Damian moved back to England when Adrian was 9. Adrian was thrilled to enter Hogwarts, and has always loved the school. There was just a small amount of doubt in the Sorting Hat when it put him in Ravenclaw. Slytherin could have suited him as well (if not better, but Adrian consciously decided to join Ravenclaw). From the beginning, Adrian was driven by the ambition and desire to learn as much as possible. He's studied hard over the years, working tirelessly for his grades. He's found a few close friends along the way but hasn't gone out of his way to find more. Being also addicted to adrenaline, Adrian did all he possibly could to get on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, and succeeded in his second year. Even if he was just a substitute, he was still a Chaser. He got on the Pitch a few times already that year, and was able to show his talent and secure his spot on the team for the future years. He tends to be ruthless and at times even reckless on the pitch, but tries to keep it within the rules. Also in his second year, he found a raven chick that had fallen out of its nest. He took it with him home and hand reared it. The bird has stuck like glue to Adrian since, and can be quite the menace, stealing everything that glitters and that's not nailed down, and teasing people. In the summer of 1993 his parents gave him two pups, and his father has helped raising them. Both dogs are in spite of their young age, extremely well trained and obedient. During his 5th year, Adrian realised what his future profession should be. He wanted to become an Auror, and not an Obliviator (the same profession as his father). He kept that decision quiet though, only sharing it with those who 'needed' to know. His parents were not included.
